https://visitnewhaven.com/places/east-rock-park-pardee-rose-garden/is in East Rock Park, New Haven,Ct. very near the Hamden,Connecticut line. The gazebo in the Pardee Rose Garden looks like the top of a wedding cake, with the brick tiers that also hold roses and other flowers representing the wedding cake. Our other location is called https://www.traillink.com/trail/branford-trolley-trail/and is essentially a long foot bridge occupying an old bridge along the route of an abandoned trolley track. The bridge links to nature trails on both sides of the water through a marsh habitat that is home to many shorebirds, fish, mammals, and invertebrates.
I met with Carolyn and Dan last month concerning their wedding at Saint Clements Castle in Portland, Ct. After hiring me to photograph their wedding, we discussed some locations for their Branford Connecticut Engagement Shoot. Dan grew up in the Branford / Stony Creek area and was very excited about Branford Trolley Trail, but Carolyn wanted some flowers and color, so we decided two locations was the solution! We chose Pardee Rose Garden, for the late afternoon light and then sunset at The Branford Trolley Trail. Here is some Connecticut Engagement Photography of Carolyn and Dan from both locations. You guys we’re just so great to work with, and I can’t wait to shoot your wedding next summer at https://www.saintclementscastle.com/.
