Todd did an absolutely amazing job as the photographer for our wedding. He took so many great creative candid photographs! We were very pleased with his expertise in choosing modern poses, capturing spontaneous moments, and utilizing the best locations at our venue. His assistant Paula worked in unity with him complimenting everything as well, and paying attention to all the details. He directed us effectively into the right poses and we really appreciated his patience during the group photos. Additionally, he was always available during the post production process and in choosing the style of our album after the wedding. Todd was excellent and the photos came out better than we could have dreamed. He met with us first to show us his portfolio and go over what we were looking for. Todd was a friendly and professional photographer who went out of his way to make sure our wedding day was captured perfectly. Todd met with us in person for over an hour to discuss our vision for the style of photographs we wanted. He was very accommodating to specific requests, taking into account our “wants” and “do not wants”. He offered guidance as to what kinds of poses and styles we wanted without pushing us into preconceived or cliche poses. He took care to learn the names of all family members and wedding party members. His samples were beautiful, and the photos he took for us were just as good as the samples. His pricing was excellent, and the quality of his photos equals or surpasses those of photographers who cost double or triple the price. As a same-sex couple, it was important to us to choose a photographer that was sensitive to the unique dynamics of a same-sex wedding. If Todd had never photographed for a wedding of two men, we would not have known. He was very at ease and treated us as if we were any other couple. Rather than making assumptions he asked respectful questions about what we preferred as a same sex couple. He did not refer to our wedding party as the “bridal party” as other vendors did. What made the greatest impact on us, other than the high quality of his photos, was that he was very aware that certain poses of opposite-sex couples clearly do not suit same-sex couples. He never asked us to pose in a “bride and groom” style photo and was careful to not impose any kind of assumed gender roles. In all, Todd was wonderful to work with and took fantastic photos. We give him our highest recommendation. Todd – thank you for capturing our day. Through your photos we will always remember our wedding as vividly as the day it took place.

Todd did such an amazing job with our wedding photos. They came out gorgeous. His price was very reasonable compared to others we had inquired, and his work was top notch. You can tell he really loves what he does. He was also very responsive, we never had an issue getting ahold of him or a response back, something we heard others had issues with their photographers. The best part is that we had our photos in about 3 weeks after the wedding…This is unheard of. We loved our experience with Todd at our engagement shoot as well. I am an artist and when my husband and I were searching for a wedding photographer I did extensive research. I can’t tell you how many portfolios I looked at and how many websites I searched….. waaaay to many to count, but once I found Della Bella Photography my hunting stopped! (The photographer for our special day was so important that we booked Todd before we even had a venue or a definite date). Let me tell you…..Todd LOVES photography. For him, the camera is an extension of what he sees and a means to capture the physical as well as a the emotional moment. That might sound a bit out there, but a picture is just not a picture, its a very specific snapshot in time and Todd does everything he can to capture it the way he sees it and the way “you feel”.

I used Della Bella for my photographer for my wedding and I am beyond happy. We were on a tight budget and Della Bella was very reasonable. Not only was the price good but we had an instant connection. We told him we didn’t want many pictures of our guest we wanted more of us and our families and our bridal party. Which I met with a few photographers and Todd was the only one who wasn’t judgy and snotty when I said that. He was understanding and really wanted us to be comfortable and love the photos. Everything with Todd was just easy which when your under wedding stress that what you need! I can’t say enough good things. He was on time, he took charge during the chaos, and he sent me sneak peak photos a few  weeks after our honeymoon. He sent our final photographs a month after our wedding. Which is so quick a lot of my friends didn’t get back their photos for a few months. I was so please with the photos and I am very critical of myself in photograph but I LOVEDDD how I looked since he is so talented !
