Silas W. Robbins House is an excellent example of the Second Empire style, and faces the Broad Street Green in the Wethersfield Historic District. The district has both National Register and local designation and is the largest historic district in Connecticut. Silas Robbins, an owner of the seed business Johnson, Robbins, and Co., built this large house in 1873.

Our third location was The Webb Barn which is located in Old Wethersfield as well, and this property serves the museum as a setting for educational classes, lectures, meetings, and weddings.
